Why Donate to the MQHRA Stallion Service Auction?
Breeding season is approaching, and we are preparing to open our annual online MQHRA Stallion Service Auction for 2019!
The success of our auction and the continued growth of Quarter Horse breeding and racing in the Midwest depends on your generosity and support. Stallion donations benefit breeders in the Midwest and beyond with exposure to new and well-respected stallions, but there are many benefits for those who donate, including:
Increased awareness and exposure for your stallions to the growing Midwest region
Our online stallion service auction reaches owners and breeders across the country, but the majority of our horsemen are in the Midwest. The auction continues to grow in terms of stallions offered, bids, and participating breeders, reflecting the strength of Quarter Horse racing in our region and the future demand of breeding to your stallions.
Demand for auction stallions due to Minnesota Stallion Breeders’ Futurity eligibility
All stallions that are listed in our online service auction comprise the eligibility list for the corresponding Minnesota Stallion Breeders’ Futurity. When you donate a stallion to our auction, any other foal by that stallion is then eligible for the MSBF, increasing demand for your stallion by other horsemen seeking to run in that race.
$2,000 Stallion bonus to owner of the sire of the winning horse in the MSB Futurity
In addition to the expanded audience and futurity eligibility, owners of the stallion who sires the winner of the Minnesota Stallion Breeders’ Futurity will receive a $2,000 bonus from MQHRA.
Additionally, the MQHRA will promote your farm and stallions to our membership with free ad placement in our newsletter and on our website as a valued partner of our Stallion Service Auction.
If you have not participated in our auction before, we invite you to join us this year.
